Grirem Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. and its predecessor is one of the source of Chinese rare earth industrial technology. We major in friendly metallurgy, separation and purification of rare earth ore, and research, development and production of advanced rare earth functional materials including rare earth metals and compounds, special alloys, rare earth magnetic materials, luminescent material and so on. We have provided more than 70 items(more than 160 times ) of industrial technology about rare earth materials for domestic and foreign enterprises. Currently, more than 65% of the world's rare earth minerals are smelted and separated through our technology. The production of high-purity europium oxide using the third generation acid leaching technology which involves separation of baotou mixed rare earth concentrate , reduction using zinc powder or electical reduction followed by alkalinity, has an industrial application rate up to 80%. This century, against the common pollution of ammonia nitrogen, high salt and waste water in the rare earth industry, many items of friendly and low-carbon metallurgical technology with original intellectual property rights have been invented, sunch as the new process of non-saponification extraction and separation, the new process of extraction and purification of rare earth with low carbon, low salt and no ammonia nitrogen, and the integrated technology of friendly and efficient leaching extraction of ionotype rare earth ore. These technology is included in “Implementation Plan of the Rare Earth Industry Clean Production Technology” of National Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and “A Catalogue of Low-carbon Technologies That The State Is Promoting” of National Development and Reform Commision. And other than that, these technologies are promoted and applied in Gansu Raer Earth New Material Co., Ltd. and China Aluminum Guangxi Nonferrous Rare Earth Development Co. Ltd, which promotes the friendly development of rare earth metallurgy industry.
